Where can I make my payment? You can pay your bill by mail or at the front desk of the hospital. Please write your account number on your check or include your payment stub.
Are there any discounts available? Yes. There is a 20 percent prompt pay discount for cash pay patients if paid within seven (7) days of receiving first statement.
Are there any programs to help me with my bill? Yes. Our Charity Care Assistance program may help for balances over $500.00. Please contact the billing department at 989.635.4232 for an application.
Is it possible to make payments on my account? Yes. The number of payments and payment amount is based on your account balance.
Is there interest charged when I make payments? No.
Can my accounts be combined so I only receive one statement? No, our computer system does not have that ability.
Do I have to send one check per account? No. One check can be sent for all accounts. Please write your account numbers on the check.
Does MRH participate with my insurance? You need to contact your insurance carrier directly to make sure we are a participating provider.
Does my insurance cover this test? The best practice is to contact your insurance carrier directly to make sure the test is a covered benefit.
If I am put in a room, am I an inpatient? Not always. It depends on your level of care and physician order. You may spend the night here but not be considered an admit (inpatient).
What if my insurance requires Quest or another company to process my lab? You can still come to MRH for the lab test. However, you must notify the front desk and lab tech so your blood is not processed here but is sent out for processing.
Who is Straight Imaging? Straight Imaging is the billing company for our radiologist.
