The Marlette Regional Hospital Center for Rehabilitation is a 10-bed acute inpatient rehabilitation unit serving the needs of our community in the "Thumb" of Michigan. Our facility has been open since June 29, 1995. Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapy is provided on an inpatient basis with 24 hour nursing care and physician coverage. The goal for our patients is to help them become as independent as possible and return home.
We have maintained our CARF accreditation since 1999. This accreditation sets our facility apart from others in that we meet the highest standards in rehabilitation. We have received accreditation for a 3-year period. This is the highest rating and the longest duration that a facility can be accredited for at a time. |

COMMUNITY OUTINGS
As part of therapy at MRH Center for Rehab, patients periodically go on a community re-entry outings. These outings have included going out to lunch at a local restaurant, attending church services, and going bowling, to name a few.
The van was purchased in most part from a large donation from the MRH Auxiliary. Patients and staff enjoy these outings and it gives the patients a chance to practice the skills that they have worked on while at the Rehab Center.
SUPPORT GROUPS
The Rehab Center offers a Stroke Support Group for those afflicted and their families. Anyone is welcome.
The STROKE SUPPORT GROUP meets the fourth Tuesday of every month from 1:00 - 3:00.
This group meets in the Rehab Dining Room. Refreshments are always served.
