Informal, social support outing for widows/widowers or singles who have lost a loved one through death. It provides an opportunity to make new friends and enjoy good converstion in a supportive setting. No need to RSVP just join us. There is no charge to attend. UNITED HOSPICE SERVICE of Marlette Regional Hospital offers Bereavement Support Programs to people who have experienced a loss through death – these groups are open to anyone in the community.
The following are informal lunch/dinner support groups for widows and widowers and singles that have lost a loved one through death. There is no charge to attend only the cost of your beverage & meal.
1st Tuesday of the month at Eddie G’s Restaurant in Marlette, 12:00 Noon for lunch.
1st Thursday of each month at Tietz’s Restaurant in Imlay City at Noon (NEW TIME) for lunch.
3rd Wednesday of each month at Nicks Country Oven (NEW LOCATION) in Cass City, 12:00 Noon for lunch.
Last Thursday of the month at Franklin Inn in Bad Axe, 6:00 p.m. for dinner.
Grief Support Groups are for adults who have experienced the death of a family members or a friend.
1st Friday of each month at MRH Administration Conference Room (use Seton Center Entrance) 10:00 a.m.
2nd Friday of each month at Country Gardens (across from Scheurer Hospital) Pigeon:10:00 a.m.
