RADIOLOGIST JOINS MARLETTE REGIONAL HOSPITAL MEDICAL STAFF
MARLETTE, MI – Marlette Regional Hospital is pleased to announce that Peter J. Clive, MD FRCP has joined the staff as Radiologist and Director of Diagnostic Imaging. Dr. Clive recognized the growth at Marlette Regional Hospital and is encouraged by the hospital’s desire to focus on what is best for patients. He states, “I am looking forward to the new 64 slice CT Scanner that will be coming to Marlette Regional Hospital and coordinating the 3D imaging that will become available with that new equipment.”
Dr. Clive will provide a full range of radiological services including Ultrasound, CT Scan, Nuclear Medicine, Mammography and Diagnostic Imaging as well as interventional procedures such as Biopsies, Drainages, Myelograms, Peripherally Inserted Central Catheters, and Ultrasound guided Para and Thoracentesis.
Clive received his medical degree from the University of Ottawa and completed a residency in Radiology at Dalhousie University, Halifax, Nova Scotia. Prior to becoming a Radiologist, Dr. Clive worked as a General Practitioner for two years during which he covered the ER and inpatients. He also spent one year as an Internal Medicine Resident and another year in a busy metropolitan ER. “Having spent time on the other side of the “Radiology Requisition” has sensitized me to the needs of the clinicians both with respect to coverage and report content,” shares Clive.
Dr. Clive has been practicing as a staff Radiologist with X-Ray Associates of Port Huron since March 1996. During this period, he held the position of Chief Radiology at Mercy Hospital, Port Huron for 3 years and prior to that he served as a Staff Radiologist at The Moncton Hospital in New Brunswick.
