Marlette Regional Hospital provides an array of outpatients services including:
- Laboratory. The Laboratory at MRH is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Last year the staff performed over 110,000 patient tests. The College of American Pathologists has accredited the Laboratory since 1992. All technologists are nationally certified. A Board Certified Pathologist is available to our Medical Staff for consultation.
- Diagnostic Imaging. In addition to our two X-ray rooms, MRH has a CT scanner, a Nuclear Medicine area, and Ultrasound device. Five technicians are also certified in Mammography. The department also participates in a four-hospital teleradiology program allowing for storage of images and consultation on difficult cases. Special pricing on mammography every May and October.
- Cardiopulmonary. The Cardiopulmonary Department at MRH consists of five areas, which include Cardiac, Respiratory, Neurology, Sleep, and Vascular/Cardiac Ultrasound. Services in these areas include:
Cardiac—12- and 15-lead EKG, Signal Average EKG, Holter Monitoring with Analysis, Cardiac Stress Test, Event Monitoring with Analysis.
Respiratory—Breathing Treatments, Oxygen Therapy, Arterial Blood Gases, Pulse Oximetry, Nocturnal Pulse Oximetry, End Tidal CO2, Apnea Monitoring, CPAP Therapy, Pulmonary Function Testing.
Neurology—Nerve Conduction Studies with EMG’s, EEG, Brainstem Auditory Evoked Response, Visual Evoked Response.
Vascular and Cardiac Ultrasound—Echocardiograms, Carotid Duplex, Duplex of Veins and Arteries, Arterial Dopplers, Stress Echocardiography, Dobutamine Stress Echocardiography, Penile Doppler, ABI.
Sleep—Polysomnography Sleep Study, CPAP/Bi-PAP Sleep Titration Sleep Study, MSLT.
Most Cardiopulmonary patient testing is available Monday through Friday from 7am to 5pm. The department is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

- Physical Therapy Services. Our Board Certified Physical Therapist and Certified Therapy Assistants offer treatment to all patient types. The department's personnel have experience with Inpatients, Outpatients, Rehabilitation, and Extended Care, as well as treating a variety of sports injuries. Occupational and Speech therapies are also available.
- Thumb MRI Magnetic Resonance Imaging is available at the state-of-the-art Thumb MRI.
