Welcome to our Extended Care Facility. Here are some highlights of our program:

• We are a 43-bed licensed and certified skilled nursing facility
• Short term and long term care provided
• Connected to MRH's acute care services with easy access to emergency care
• A Registered Nurse supervisor is on staff 24 hours per day
• We provide dietary services with menus planned by a registered dietitian for well-balanced meals served daily
• Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapy are provided as needed or directed by a physician
• Daily activities are planned by our staff activities coordinator and tailored to our residents' interests
• Personal grooming services are available for our residents
• Our facility's pets and birds give a feeling of "at home" companionship
• Hospice services are provided by United Hospice Service, which is licensed through MRH

• Assistance with the admission process, appointing an advocate for resident's rights, or a liaison between the family and the facility for those concerned with the resident's level of care can all be provided through the MRH Social Services office.
• Our discharge planning includes recommendations for home services and follow-up routines
• Medicare, Medicaid, Blue Cross-Blue Shield, private pay, and private insurances are accepted.
• We have consistently scored high marks in surveys conducted by the Joint Commission on Accreditation for Health Care Organizations and the Michigan Department of Public Health.
