GREG RORAFF, NAMED CEO AT MARLETTE REGIONAL HOSPITAL
Marlette, Michigan – Marlette Regional Hospital (MRH) is pleased to announce that Gregory E. Roraff, FACHE will join the hospital leadership as Chief Executive Officer on Monday, July 21, 2008.
Roraff brings with him extensive experience in executive leadership in healthcare organizations throughout the Midwest. Most recently, he served as Chief Executive Officer at Memorial Health Center in Medford, Wisconsin and prior to that, he served in the same capacity at Brim Health Care – Powell Hospital & Nursing Home in Powell, Wyoming and Swift County Benson Hospital in Benson, Minnesota.
“We were fortunate to have many strong candidates interested in this position,” states Gordon Miller, MRH Board of Trustees Chair, “Greg has the experience, philosophies and leadership qualities that led our team to consider him the candidate that will guide us as we expand and improve healthcare options to the communities we serve. Greg has demonstrated success in healthcare strategic planning, new program development and construction management, and he understands rural healthcare. He brings a lot to the table and we’re excited to move forward with him.”
Greg has a B.A. in Business from the University of Wisconsin and is a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives and has been very active with the Wisconsin Hospital Association. He also has been active in various civic clubs.
Greg and his wife, Marci, have 3 daughters, one married and residing in Medford, WI, one currently enrolled in college and one that recently graduated from high school and will join her sister at Wisconsin Green Bay College in the fall. Greg will begin his duties on July 21 and Marci will join him in Marlette in early August.
