Marlene Schank, Nurse Practitioner ~ Marlette Family HealthCare
Marlette, MI- Marlette Family Healthcare’s Dr. Robert E. Rees announces an expansion of services to his practice by the addition of Marlene Schank, NP.
A familiar face to Marlette Regional Hospital (MRH), Schank started her career at MRH in 1989 working in the Extended Care Facility. While working as a nurse for the past 15 years, she has been able to gain experience working in many different areas of health care. She has managed an acute care department; she has worked in a medical/surgical department; she has a very strong background working in an emergency department; she is experienced in pediatrics and women’s health; and she has experience working in various family healthcare offices.
Schank attended Mott Community College where she earned certification as a licensed practical nurse and later, certification as a registered nurse. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from U of M Flint and a Master of Science in Nursing from Saginaw Valley State University. Returning to Marlette, Schank commented, “I thoroughly enjoy working at MRH. Now having the opportunity to work with Dr. Rees, I am very excited to provide care to patients in the Marlette community.” Schank is available to patients at Marlette Family Healthcare on Thursdays from 10 a.m. – 7 p.m. Dr. Rees is available on Mondays from 10 a.m. – 7 p.m.; Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.; Thursdays from 8 a.m. – noon; and on Fridays from 7 a.m. – 4 p.m. |
