OB-GYN Speaks at Women’s Seminar
Marlette, MI- The Marlette Regional Hospital Foundation’s Community Relations Committee hosted an “It’s All About Women” seminar titled, “Life is a Stage” on June 23, 2010. Featured speaker, Darlene Daly, D.O., Board Certified OB-GYN, shared valuable health information with nearly 30 women, regarding PMS, childbearing, perimenopause, menopause, and associated treatment options. Marlette, MI- Employees from all departments of Marlette Regional Hospital (MRH) helped in welcoming Dr. Darlene Daly, OB-GYN, to the staff of MRH on Monday, May 10, 2010. A welcome reception was held in her honor, featuring light refreshments and an opportunity to meet Dr. Daly and her staff. DR. DARLENE DALY, OB-GYN, JOINS MARLETTE REGIONAL HOSPITAL
Darlene Daly, DO, OB-GYN
Marlette Regional Hospital (MRH) is pleased to welcome Darlene Daly, D.O. to the physician staff. Dr. Daly is certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and holds specialized training in advanced laparoscopic and minimally invasive hysterectomies, treatment and prevention of osteoporosis, treatment of endometriosis and chronic pelvic pain, family planning, annual gynecologic care, prenatal and postnatal care, including care for high risk pregnancies, treatment of abnormal pap smears, and breast health.
Dr. Daly was born and raised in Saginaw, Michigan, and resides in the Thumb of Michigan. She attended St. Francis College in Fort Wayne, Indiana where she obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Science and upon graduation attended Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine and earned her Doctorate. Dr. Daly completed her residency at Genesys Regional Medical Center, Flint Osteopathic Campus, with a specialty in Obstetrics and Gynecology. For the past 14 years Dr. Daly has served through Lapeer Regional Medical Center where she will continue to deliver babies.
Now joining MRH, Dr. Daly stated, “I look forward to being a part of Marlette Regional Hospital. In addition to providing necessary gynecological procedures to the community, I will offer prenatal and postnatal care. These women will deliver at Lapeer Regional Medical Center which is just 35 minutes from Marlette.”
