MARLETTE FAMILY HEALTHCARE HOLDS COMMUNITY OPEN HOUSE

MARLETTE, MI – Marlette Family HealthCare of Marlette Regional Hospital welcomed over 175 guests to an October 6, 2009 Open House held in honor of Robert E. Rees, D.O. The afternoon program included a meet and greet with MFHC office staff; Robert E. Rees, D.O.; Diane Szyperski, Office Manager; Tammy Hoisington, Nurse; and Michelle Russell, Medical Assistant. Offerings for participants attending the event included free Achilles bone density screenings and blood glucose screenings, plus tasty refreshments prepared by the MRH Nutritional Services department.
“Our entire staff would like to extend a special thank you to all the Marlette Regional Hospital employees and volunteers, and the entire community for helping to make our Open House a huge success,” shared Dr. Rees.
Marlette Family HealthCare offers a full-line of patient care for newborns to geriatrics including; Osteopathic Manipulative Therapy, Women’s Health Service, Physicals (including but not limited to, Routine, Sport, School, Employment, Insurance, DOT); Worker’s Compensation; Minor Surgical Procedures; Immunizations; and Allergy Injections.

ROBERT E. REES, DO JOINS MARLETTE REGIONAL HOSPITAL
Rees received his medical degree from the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his residency in Family Medicine at Trinity Terrace Park Hospital, Bettendorf, Iowa. Dr. Rees completed his undergraduate studies at Northern Michigan University.
Robert E. Rees, DO will provide primary care medical services to patients of all ages. His services will include, but are not limited to, care of acute illnesses, chronic disease management, preventative health care, well child care, adolescent care, men’s and women’s health care.
“Marlette Regional Hospital is looking forward to the addition of Robert E. Rees, DO Family Medicine and the healthcare services he will bring to our hospital,” states Senior Director of Ambulatory and Ancillary Services, Victoria Meiburg, RN.
Dr. Rees will see patients at the Marlette Regional Hospital Office Building located at 2750 Main Street, Suite 2. To schedule an appointment, please call the office at 989-635-4614. Same day appointments will be available with most insurance accepted.
