The Foundation Development Council consists of four committees of community volunteer leaders, each managing programs that communicate with, cultivate, solicit and recognize specific groups. These programs increase:

The annual support committee operates programs designed to increase the number of donors to the organization. Once someone has contributed, the committee implements programs to recognize, communicate with, serve and upgrade these donors.

Friends of MRH is a giving club dedicated to ensuring that high-quality health care is available to patients in our region. Members donate an annual gift of $100 to $999. As a way to say thank you to our Friends of MRH, the annual support committee hosts an annual recognition event in honor of our friends. The committee is also responsible for recognizing our friends on a donor recognition board that is displayed in the hospital.
The business relations committee operates programs designed to increase the number of business contacts to the organization each year and to maintain personal yearly contact with each of the 10 to 50 identified key businesses.

These business programs are educational seminars that help area businesses with their health service needs. Each seminar addresses a single health topic or health issue of interest to business leaders.
The annual golf outing is supported by participants and businesses that play a key support role in providing high-quality health care services to our communities. The proceeds raised from each outing are allocated for specific hospital projects.
The community relations committee operates programs designed to involve more, and new, people with the organization as volunteers and program attendees. These programs strengthen the image of the organization as a health care community benefit organization within the community.

It’s All About Women seminars are designed to educate area women about their general health and particular health concerns.
This health fair was designed to provide men with valuable health information so they can make positive health choices. The event features presentations by health professionals, information booths, low-cost health screenings, a free meal and the opportunity to peruse many beautifully restored classic and special interest cars.
This unique educational conference is open to all area coaches and those with an interest in community sports programs. The program provides education for athletes on proper care, with emphasis on the prevention, recognition and treatment of athletic injuries. It features keynote speakers, hands-on demonstrations, valuable resources and a showcase of vendors.
This annual fundraising event offers an opportunity for family members and friends to pay tribute (in honor or in memory) to the special people in their lives. It also offers an opportunity for businesses to support a worthy cause. Gifts received through the Tree of Shining Love event are used to support projects in the areas of capital equipment, renovations or expansion of hospital services.
